The Transition of "The Nest"
By the end of the 2024 - 2025 Purdue academic year, a house-based venue known as "The Nest" had arguably become one of the most prominent and well-known locations of the scene. As it grew larger, The Nest organizers encountered mounting obstacles through community noise complaints and threats of eviction from the landlord. The organizers have since incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and begun a project to relocate into a new, permanent venue in West Lafayette.[1][2]
